Monique Diane Edwards is an American actress.
Edwards was born in Kittery, Maine. She is a multi-talented actress, singer, director, and humanitarian who is steadily building a solid reputation in television, feature films, the stage, and commercials. She was born in Maine, but lived most of her life in Ft. Wayne, Indiana. Like many school-aged children, she performed in elementary school. Edwards was born in Kittery, Maine. She is a multi-talented actress, singer, director, and humanitarian who is steadily building a solid reputation in television, feature films, the stage, and commercials. She was born in Maine, but lived most of her life in Ft. Wayne, Indiana. Like many school-aged children, she performed in elementary school. Unlike many, however, she made the decision at that early age to become a working actor. Seven years after graduating from Snider High School, she moved west to Los Angeles where she began working steadily and continues to this day.
This past year, Ms. Edwards traveled to Uganda to work with youth in war-torn areas, for the documentary film "Voices of Uganda" that chronicled their work. She also traveled to Washington D.C. with Resolve Uganda to lobby on behalf of peace in Northern Uganda.
Most recently, Edwards completed filming an episode of Nickelodeon's "iCarly" - iLost My Mind. Prior to that she appeared in the "The Social Network", written by Aaron Sorkin and directed by David Fincher.
