She studied A Levels at college. King had a minor acting role in Hollyoaks Later, where she appeared as herself. King skied for United Kingdom and was one of the youngest on the team, gaining a scholarship with the British Ski Academy. Mollie King was born in Wandsworth, London, the youngest of three daughters born to Susan (née Wykes) and Stephen King, and attended Surbiton High School, in Kingston-upon-Thames, Greater London.
