Michael "Mike" Thurmeier is a Canadian-American animator and director at Blue Sky Studios. He is most famous for co-directing Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs and Ice Age: Continental Drift. At Archbishop M.C. O'Neill High School, in the Choir room, there is a huge Ice Age poster with Mike Thurmeir's signature on it. His first directing job was in 2006 when he co-directed a short animated film, No Time for Nuts, starring Scrat.
