Michael Raymond-James (born "Michael Raymond James" on December 24, 1977 in Detroit, Michigan), is an American actor. He is best known for playing Rene Lenier in the first season of HBO's series True Blood and Britt Pollack on FX's series Terriers.
Michael started out doing theater and studied at the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute in New York, with George Loros, Jeffery Horn and Robert Castle.

He starred in the FX original series Terriers which was canceled by FX on December 6, 2010 after the first season. He has also appeared in the "Nebraska" episode of The Walking Dead as a character named "Dave", a guy the producers describe as being "a charming and friendly guy from a city in the Northeast and has spent a significant amount of time in low-rent bars. He's able to disarm with a smile, but can quickly turn dangerous."
