Megan "Meg" Foster (born on May 10, 1948) is an American actress best known for her roles in the TV miniseries version of The Scarlet Letter, Ticket to Heaven, The Osterman Weekend, and They Live (1988). Foster was born in Reading, Pennsylvania. She studied acting at the Neighborhood Playhouse in New York. She played Detective Christine Cagney for the first six episodes of the first season of Cagney & Lacey until she was replaced by Sharon Gless.
