Maurie Fields (4 August 1925–18 December 1995) was an Australian actor, vaudeville performer and stand-up comedian. He became a well-known face on television thanks to his dramatic roles in Bellbird, The Box, Prisoner (playing the part of "crooked" screw, Len Murphy) and The Flying Doctors. He was also a regular in situation comedy series Bobby Dazzler (1977) and did regular comedy segments on Hey Hey It's Saturday. Fields was inducted into the Logie Awards Hall of Fame in 1996. The award was accepted by his widow.
