As a member of the Young People's Musical Theater Company, she was trained in drama, singing, and dance. She was also classically trained in violin, cello, and voice. Mary Christina also studied acting at the young conservatory of A.C.T. and with Philip Bennett at the Bennett Theater Lab in San Francisco. She also attended School of the Arts High School focusing on drama and dance. She danced professionally with Ronnie Reddick with City Slam and Spirit of Polynesia Dance Company.
