Two of Csokas' most notable roles are Lord Celeborn in the films The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring and The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King, and Guy de Lusignan in Kingdom of Heaven. He has also made repeated appearances in Xena: Warrior Princess as Xena's past love and ally, Borias. He also played Jarda in The Bourne Supremacy. He was also the villain in XXX, and played opposite Charlize Theron in Aeon Flux. Csokas holds dual New Zealand and Hungarian citizenship.
