It was released on March 11, 2011 by Walt Disney Pictures. The film stars both Seth Green and newcomer Seth Dusky as Milo. Mars Needs Moms was the final product of Robert Zemeckis' studio ImageMovers Digital, which shut down after its completion. The film was both a critical and commercial failure.
