Lydia Cornell (born July 23) is an American actress, writer, novelist, comedienne, blogger, and talk-radio host.
Cornell was born as Lydia Korniloff in El Paso, Texas, the eldest daughter of Irma Jean Stowe and Gregory Jacob Korniloff, and the elder sister of Paul and Kathryn. Cornell began acting professionally by 1980. Her first major role was as Ted Knight's daughter Sara on the ABC television situation comedy Too Close for Comfort from 1980 to 1985.
