Love evokes all the senses, yet you still can't define it. That definition belongs to our sixth sense. Or so the hip, vibrant and charismatic characters of "The Price of Kissing" learn in their quest for the perfect partner. Renee is a writer searching for the appropriate expression for her offbeat observations. Her best friend Larry is a struggling reggae singer. But Renee's already complicated life takes a sharper turn when her roommate Annette (Nicole Eggert) becomes romantically involved with Larry. As tensions grow among this tight knit group of oddballs, they turn to Ben (Lou Rawls), a street musician whose old soul gives guidance to a younger generation wavering on the path of love. Jackee (Loretta Devine) also oozes wisdom as the mysterious psychic secretly controlling destiny and always tempting fate.
