The early years of her career were firmly grounded in high-profile television comedies and one-woman stage appearances, appearing in Murder Most Horrid, Absolutely Fabulous, The Lenny Henry Show, Big Train, Porkpie, amongst others, and various children's programmes. She is also the voice of several characters in kids' favourite Bob the Builder and In the Know, animation for the BBC and Open University. Returning to her first love of dramatic roles, Llewella has recently appeared in Manderlay (2005), Lars von Trier's acclaimed follow-up movie to Dogville, and, for TV, two episodes of Holby City.
