Unlike the majority of screen performers who debut as children, Lee Cormie dove headfirst into adult-oriented material with his credible performance as nightmare-stricken Michael Greene in the supernatural horror film Darkness Falls (2003). Though critics mercilessly excoriated the film as a worthless derivation (rubbish), it suggested courage on the young star's behalf, with reviews likening his performance to that of Haley Joel Osmont in 'The Sixth Sense'. Cormie dialed down the intensity a few dozen notches (and connected with material more commonly associated with his age bracket) as the lead actor alongside Daniel Radcliffe in the lyrical and evocative Aussie coming-of-age picture December Boys (2007). Lee also appeared as a main role in Channel 10 Series Worst Best Friends and in LESS
