Dr. Larry Day is a retired vocal pedagogue. Dr. Day was most recently professor emeritus of voice at the University of Arizona. His long and distinguished teaching career included many years at Colorado State University in Fort Collins, Colorado, where he both taught voice and directed the operas. Dr. Day was a fine bass-baritone soloist and sang throughout the United States. Day was a student of the famous pedagogue Berton Coffin, and one of the first two recipients of the degree of Doctor of Musical Arts (D.M.A.) at the University of Colorado at Boulder.
