Kurt Wimmer (born 1964) is an American screenwriter, film producer and film director. Wimmer is of German descent, he attended the University of South Florida and graduated with a BFA degree in Art History. He then moved to Los Angeles where he worked for 12 years as a screenwriter before making his 2002 film, Equilibrium. Although he is credited as the director of the 1995 film One Tough Bastard (a.k.a. One Man's Justice), he was actually fired half way through the filming and did not complete it. Angelina Rejects “Salt 2” Script And Demands A Re-Do!

Angelina Jolie rubs salt in the sequel’s wounds! “Salt 2” is currently in the works, but it looks like the movie’s star, Angelina Jolie is calling the shots! The actress reportedly shot down the new script written by Kurt Wimmer Columbia Pictures knows they have to kept Angie happy so she will stay on board for the film. So they told Wimmer to try again. He’s got to re-write the script and hope it’s up to Angelina standards!
