He is best known for playing Noah Newman on The Young and the Restless and as Henry Griffin in Unnatural History. He is the brother of actors Kenneth Schmidt and Kendall Schmidt. Schmidt acts in and is one of the producers for the web series Poor Paul. He plays Justin—a roommate of Paul—and directed several episodes of the series.
