Clark was introduced to acting at the age of fourteen, playing drummer Freddy Jones, in Paramount Pictures' School of Rock with Jack Black, in which the film opened at number one nationwide October 3, 2003. Clark was in a band — called Blind — before School of Rock, but while he was away filming the movie they replaced him with another drummer.
