MORE Jumanji is a 1995 American fantasy adventure film about a supernatural board game that makes wild animals and other jungle hazards materialize upon each player's move. It was directed by Joe Johnston and is based on Chris Van Allsburg's popular 1981 picture book of the same name. The special effects were provided by Industrial Light & Magic in computer graphics, and Amalgamated Dynamics with animatronics. The film stars Robin Williams as Alan, a man who emerges from the game's unseen jungle world, along with Kirsten Dunst as a girl named Judy Shepherd who plays the game with her brother, Peter Shepherd, David Alan Grier as a hapless shoemaker-turned-police officer, Adam Hann-Byrd as Alan when he was a boy, Bonnie Hunt as the woman who played the game with Alan when they were children, and Jonathan Hyde in a dual role as both Alan's father and Van Pelt, a big-game hunter intent on killing Alan—Van Pelt is patterned after Alan's father. The cast also features Bebe Neuwirth as Judy and Peter's aunt. It was shot in Keene, New Hampshire, where the story is set, North Berwick, Maine and Vancouver, British Columbia. In 2005, a spiritual sequel to Jumanji, Zathura, was released. LESS |

This is an crazy epic adventure story, I might even make a novel out of it! But first of all I'd like to just ask you all reallly nicely not to leave any crit, cos it would make me rather sad :D Jay loaded first time, traveled great :) First time we've ever been to Rowallan, was really looking forward to it! By the time we got there it was pretty dark already, but that was fine, Jay munched away at his net in the trailer, my dad sat with him, and Mandy and I went to put his name down :) (We also bought 3 slices of lemon cake - which later saved our lives - to be explained haha!) So we get's back to the trailer after walking the course (which I remembered in all three classes! WEHEY! Got Jay out the trailer, got his stuff and took him into the warmup area to tack up, he was so nosey lol Got warmed up and in the first class, (70cms) he was just like WOW! haha flags and people and chairs and lights and.. yeh.. he was really quite impressed! But then again I can't ride so he stopped at one big spread with scary fillers, jumped it second time, and finished the course. In the 80cms He stopped at the double as shown, I'm not too sure why, he jumped it before, maybe he just didn't notice the fillers before :L And then in the 90cms he stopped at a really silly one but that was my fault cos I showed him it before, stupidly, by trotting him up to it then I stopped him (cos I thought he was gonna jump it haha) so I pratically told him to stop at it :( idiot I am! but yeah jumped it ...
