Michelle won a Best Actress Award for her role as Terry in the feature film The House Is Burning, also starring Melissa Leo and directed by Holger Ernst. This film premiered at the Cannes Film Festival in 2006. For this same role she received the Fencer Statuette from The Flash Film Foundation's Young Film Festival in Poland.
Michelle was nominated three times for Best Actress by the Youth in Film Young Artist Awards. In 1991 she was nominated for her guest appearance on Who's The Boss?; in 1993 for "Best Actress Under Age 10" for the movie Family Prayers; and in 1998 for "Best Actress in a TV Series" for the 1998 TV movie Bus No. 9.
