Joe Perrino (born 1982) is an American actor. He was born and raised in the Bronx, New York to Italian parents and began acting when a casting director for the film "Sleepers" saw Joe standing on a street corner and asked him to read for the film. After months of auditioning Joe won one of the lead roles of young Lorenzo "Shakes" Carcaterra. Joe went on to work with respected young talents such as Anna Paquin in A Walk on the Moon playing her love interest. After months of auditioning Joe won one of the lead roles of young Lorenzo "Shakes" Carcaterra. After a break from acting Joe returned to land 5 episodes of the hit show "The Sopranos" playing Jason Gervasi, a young gangster. Joe described the experience working on the show as being "amazingly satisfying". Joe studies with acting teacher Alice Spivack. In 2008 appeared in the direct-to-DVD dark comedy Assassination of a High School President with Bruce Willis. Joe played Dutch Middleton, an odd ball delinquent in his latest (to date) film appearance.
