John Barrie

John Barrie (6 May 1917 – 24 March 1980) was a British actor who appeared in a number of television shows and films, but became best known for his roles on the police series Sergeant Cork and Z Cars in the 1960s. He was born in New Brighton, Cheshire in 1917 and made his screen debut in the 1954 film Yankee Pasha.
