Jean Baudin is a Californian electric bass who performs using Extended-range bass. Primarily self-taught, Baudin has studied privately with guitarists Marty Friedman and Jason Becker as well as bassist Wally Voss. His collection of extended-range bass now includes the world's second 12-string single-course bass, built by JP Basses. He performs with Nuclear Rabbit and with Element of Surprise during one of Nuclear Rabbit's Hiatuses. He has recently begun solo performances.
