Ivan Rassimov was an Italian film actor of Serbian origin who appeared in many horror and exploitation films. Born in Trieste to Serbian parents, Velimir and Vera Djerasimović, he attended the Slovenian scienific lyceum in Trieste .He made his film debut in 1964 after graduating from university and Actors' Studio in Rome. He retired from acting in 1987. At the time of his tragic motorcycle accident, which led to his death, he was working for a publishing firm in Rome.
