Since 2010 Ingrid has played the Character Lori Unger in the HBO Canada Television show "Living in Your Car" Ingrid was Miss Teen London in 1987, and she was first runner up for Miss Teen Canada 1987. She has three sisters and one brother. Her twin sister Monique Kavelaars competed in the same competition in 1989, and was Miss Teen London 1989, as well as Miss Teen Canada 1989. Monique is also a world class athlete in fencing, a Silver Medalist at the Commonwealth Games. Ingrid and Monique also have an older sister, Annette Kavelaars Burrows, who was also Miss London 1984, and competed in the 1985 LESS
