Site Owners - Submit MRSS Feeds
Feeds will allow OVGuide to better index your video content. MRSS feeds are best used for recently added content, as explained below:
MRSS:
The MRSS Feed is the best way for us to find and index your video content. Assuming you are an existing site on OVGuide, you can submit an MRSS (MediaRSS) feed in the form to the right. This is the same format that Yahoo and Google use to help index videos, so you can improve your visibility in those engines as well with a feed.

If your site has over 500 videos, we recommend having one bulk mRSS Feed with all of your video content and then a separate mRSS feed that we can crawl weekly for updates. Also keep in mind that if you delete content regularly, we may need a 3rd feed to know which videos to move into a suspended status.
Ideally your feed will provide the following data about your videos:
- Video Title
- Video Description
- URL of Video Page
- Thumbnail Image URL
- Embed Code of Video (*If Available)
- Run Time of Video
- Expiration Date of Video
- Keywords / Tags
- Category of Video (*If Available)
- Any Restrictions:
- Geographic Region
- Language in Video
- Subtitle Language in Video
As explained above, these MRSS feeds typically only provide the latest content, from the last week or month.
The more data you give us, the richer experience for users, and the more likely that your site will get more visitors.
