promote web series
OVGuide has millions of video hungry users and we would love nothing more than for them to discover your Web Series and become regular Webisode watchers. To help promote your web series we need three things from you. Please contact us through this form with the following information:
- The name and URL for your destination site and/or youtube channel for this web series. Our editorial team will need to create a tile for it in our Webisode section
- Please create an account on Freebase.com. Then we need to know information about your Web Series:
- Add your series with all applicable information to the Internet Video Series section (Use the add more topics button on the top right). i. Doing this will help to publicize your series to the entire web community while also making a dedicated page for your show on OVGuide for us to tag your video embeds to.
- Fill out as much as you can within the Internet Video Series portion on Freebase. It is important to list the genre(s) of your show.
- It is very important that you copy the URL or newly created MID / GUID (Identifying code on Freebase) for your web series and provide it in the form that you send to us. Otherwise we won't be able to find the show to make sure all information was added correctly.
- If you host your videos and have a unique video player (other than vimeo, youtube, etc), then we would be happy to crawl an mRSS Feed that you provide - given that it is in the standard mRSS feed format. The data needs to be in freebase and transferred over to our system before we can crawl this video feed though.
