Jefferson Jr. appeared in the pilot episode of NBC's Knight Rider (1982) as Munsie, an undercover police officer (who is murdered) and partner of Michael Long (who becomes Michael Knight). He also portrayed a reporter in the film Apollo 13 and a doctor in Outbreak (1995), in 2007 he played Captain Gault in the Star Trek fan mini series Of Gods and Men.
