Shoshone is a three-year old wolf/dog hybrid…more wolf than dog…and prowls the backyard of her owner’s house in Eaton on the end of a long leash. On April 28th, five-year-old Chase Fox ran from his mom’s house toward the neighbor’s yard. “I chased him,” said Marcy Fox. “He ended up going over to where the dog was and I picked Chase up and as I did, the dog just lunged for him and me.” The dog bit the boy on the left arm and back. Some of the bites, doctors said, went to the bone.
