Hansford Rowe (born May 12, 1924) is an American character actor who has starred in films and on television. He has been known to play ministers in some of his roles. Rowe was born in Richmond, Virginia, the son of Virginia Isabel (née Willis) and Hansford Herndon Rowe, who was a veterinarian. Rowe was born in Richmond, Virginia, the son of Virginia Isabel (née Willis) and Hansford Herndon Rowe, who was a veterinarian. His first television role was in the 1967 TV movie The Thanksgiving Visitor. He starred in the cult series Dark Shadows as a Judge in 1968. Hansford has starred in some films, his first feature film was in the 1973 movie Gordon's War, his other movie credits are Missing (1982), Baby Boom (1987), and his most recent film is in the 2003 movie Dry Cycle. He has made guest appearances on TV shows, some of those appearances range from Love, Sidney, The Greatest American Hero, Six Feet Under, Night Court and Will & Grace.
