Hallie Foote (born March 31, 1950) is an American actress. Born Barbarie Hallie Foote in New York City, the daughter of Lillian Vallish Foote and writer and director Horton Foote, she was raised in Nyack, New York and New Hampshire. She began her stage career in 1986 when she was cast in the title role of her father's off-Broadway play The Widow Claire, which also featured Matthew Broderick, Dan Butler, and Sarah Michelle Gellar.
