When New York journalist Jake Bridges (William Petersen) catches his girlfriend cheating on him, he travels to Atlantic City to drink away his troubles. Jake Bridges (William Peterson) is a washed-up writer befriended by Atlantic City enforcer Frankie McGregor (Michael Wincott).
