She has guest starred on numerous shows: Law & Order, Without a Trace, Century City, A Nero Wolfe Mystery, Cosby, The Naked Brothers Band, and Cracker. She also starred in the TV pilots Leap of Faith, The Corsairs, and Journeyman. She went on to star as Katie Vasser, the wife of main character Dan Vasser, on the TV series Journeyman. Gretchen's film experience includes Mira Nair's The Namesake, Anthony Minghella's The Talented Mr. Ripley, and Robert Redford's Quiz Show, as well as the independent films Social Grace and Nicolas.
