Gary Frank (born October 9, 1950, in Spokane, Washington) is an American actor who won an Emmy Award for his performances on the TV series Family (which also starred James Broderick, Sada Thompson, Meredith Baxter, and Kristy McNichol). He has been married to producer Carroll Newman since 1976; their daughter, Jessica, is a graduate of the USC School of Cinema Arts and works as a Digital Marketing Manager in the feature division of Lionsgate.
He also starred with Glynnis O'Connor in the short-lived 1974 CBS series Sons and Daughters, a drama about young people in a changing society.
