Fernanda Arrias Machado (born October 10, 1980) is a Brazilian film, television and stage actress. She is perhaps best known for her role as Maria in the film Tropa de Elite. Born in Maringá, Paraná state. Her first television work was in 2004, when she played Sonya Karamazov in Rede Globo's telenovela Começar de Novo, by Antônio Calmon and Elizabeth Jhin.
