A student studying the mysterious stranglehold of urban myths decides to investigate a dreaded Louisiana plantation that was the site of grizzly murders of a couple by their son 20 years earlier. He trespasses with four others onto the abandoned backwoods property in an effort to prove his thesis that there is no truth to the myths surrounding it. Panic, violence and terror erupt as the group delves deeper into the property's bizarre history and their own fears.
