Elyes Gabel (born 8 May 1983 in London) is a British Asian actor who played Dr Gupreet "Guppy" Sandhu in the BBC medical drama, Casualty. He starred as PE teacher Rob Cleaver in BBC drama, Waterloo Road and appeared in the ITV Drama Identity. He is currently appearing as Rakharo in the HBO series Game of Thrones.

He dropped out of drama school to play the part of the mummy Nuff, in the children's television show, I Love Mummy. He has also participated in theatre productions such as West Side Story; Oliver!; and Diary of Anne Frank.
He was nominated for a National Television Award (Best Newcomer) in 2005.
He was recently interviewed for Take it Easy magazine and revealed that he was working with Martin Shaw in Liverpool on the new TV series Apparitions, the first episode of which was screened on BBC One 13 November 2008.
