Doon Mackichan (born Sarah-Doon Mackichan in August 1962) is a British comedienne and actress. Mackichan was born in London and raised in Surrey until age nine, when she and her family moved to Upper Largo, Fife. A Manchester University graduate, she is probably best known as one of the writers and stars of the Channel 4 comedy series Smack the Pony and for appearing in a number of Chris Morris comedy series such as On The Hour, The Day Today, and Brass Eye.
