David John "Dave" Franco (born June 12, 1985) is an American television and film actor who played Cole Aaronson on season nine of Scrubs. He also recently co-starred in the film 21 Jump Street, playing the role of Eric Molson. Franco is the brother of actor James Franco.
Franco was born in Palo Alto, California, the son of Betsy (née Verne), a poet, author and editor, and Doug Franco (1948-2011), who met as students at Stanford University.
