Daniel O'Herlihy (1 May 1919 – 17 February 2005) was an Oscar-nominated Irish film actor. O'Herlihy was born in Wexford, Ireland, in 1919. His family moved to Dublin at a young age. He was educated at Christian Brothers College in Dun Laoghaire and later studied in University College Dublin, graduating in 1944 with a degree in Architecture.
