It was founded on Merrimack Street in Lowell, Massachusetts in 1963, under the name Consumer Value Store. CVS Caremark (CVS) reported second quarter earnings today that declined to $816 million, or $0.60 per share, compared to $821 million, or $0.60 per share, last year. Adjusted earnings of $0.65 per share were just ahead of analyst forecasts.
