Her most recent project was starring on NBC's short-lived series Love Bites. Zimmer was born in Seattle, Washington, to Ingrid Mueller and Gunter Zimmer. She decided to pursue a career in acting after she fell in love with the craft as a high school student. Following high school, she was accepted to the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in Pasadena.
