Enterprise software company SAP just announced that it has agreed to acquire Concur, which makes expense and travel management tools that it says are used by 23,000 customers (including TechCrunch and its parent company AOL). The deal is for $129 per share, which is 20 percent more than Concur’s September 17th closing price. SAP CEO Bill McDermott said in the acquisition release, “The acquisition of Concur is consistent with our relentless focus on the business network. We are making a bold move to innovate the future of business within and between companies." The acquisition is expected to close in the fourth quarter of this year or the first quarter of 2015
