Cody Reed Kasch (born August 21, 1987) is an American actor.
Kasch was born of Scottish heritage in Santa Monica, California and raised in Ojai, California on a working ranch until he was nearly fourteen, when he moved to Camarillo, California.
After numerous television guest appearances, Kasch got his big break when he was cast in a regular role on the John Goodman sitcom Normal, Ohio, only to see that series be cancelled after only a few episodes. Kasch was born of Scottish heritage in Santa Monica, California and raised in Ojai, California on a working ranch until he was nearly fourteen, when he moved to Camarillo, California.
After numerous television guest appearances, Kasch got his big break when he was cast in a regular role on the John Goodman sitcom Normal, Ohio, only to see that series be cancelled after only a few episodes. Kasch portrayed a Texan high school student in the Australian teenage series, Out There. Four years later, Kasch was hired to play the character of Zach Young on the ABC comedy-drama Desperate Housewives, where as the son of deceased Mary Alice Young, Kasch played one of the pivotal figures in the show's main mystery. After a brief absence from the series he returned in the season 3 as Gabrielle Solis' secret admirer and again in season 7. He is also the narrator for several audiobooks. Kasch starred in the 2010 horror film Chain Letter as Neil Conners.
