The luckless Virgil Guppy has been framed for murder and is now a fugitive. Aided by a dysfunctional family of thieves, unorthodox police procedure and some clever body work of his own, he sets out to clear his name. As the body count rises, Virgil is swept off on a rollercoaster ride that ends with him meeting his destiny in a scrap yard somewhere on the edge of town. This darkly comic contemporary thriller is the first feature film written and directed by Gareth Rhys Jones and produced by Richard McGill. Bodywork features an exciting cast of up and coming British talent including Hans Matheson, Charlotte Coleman, Beth Winslet and Peter Ferdinando. The film boats a first class soundtrack with an original score by Srdjan Kurpjel, complimented by The Seahorses, The Stereophonics, Morcheeba and Blueboy amongst others.
