Charles Dale (born 28 November 1963) is a Welsh actor who is well known for playing Dennis Stringer in Coronation Street, Gary "Chef" Alcock in The Lakes and Clive Eustace in The Eustace Bros.. Since November 2007 Dale has portrayed porter Mackenzie 'Big Mac' Chalker in the long-running BBC TV series Casualty.
