Actress Sybil Temchen has been appearing in films since 1996, when she debuted in Ten Benny, an independent drama about being down-and-out in Newark, New Jersey. The following year, she had a supporting role in Floating, an independent coming-of-age drama starring Norman Reedus and Chad Lowe. She appeared in yet another independent drama in 1998, when she could be seen in the critically acclaimed Restaurant. A look at a group of New Jersey bartenders and waiters dreaming of big breaks in the artistic community, it starred Adrien Brody and hip hop diva Lauryn Hill.
