Evil spell leads to kick-ass surfing. Beloved videogame character Q*Bert succumbs to peer pressure, turning to the occult so he can appear to be the best surfer since Gidget rode the waves. Aww, Q*Bert's morals have fallen so very far.

This should have been called "Q*Bert Without a Cause." Echoing James Dean, Q*Bert competes in a race with Coily, the resident bad guy in both the cartoon & original videogame. But here the Q trades in the coupe for a multicolored flying disc.
