A former vaudeville performer and the child bride of action star William Desmond, brunette Mary McIvor's screen career was mainly spent in vehicles co-starring her famous husband. Onscreen from 1917, McIvor would appear opposite Desmond in five popular action melodramas, including The Burning Trail, a 1925 Universal "Grade-A" Western, after which she retired.
