Russian-born Margarita Levieva spent much of her young life on the training mat, dutifully studying rhythmic gymnastics from the age of three. She would continue her training, sometimes seven days a week, until she moved to the United States with her family at the age of 10. Levieva's work ethic didn't wane, however, and she would go on to work full-time to put herself through college at NYU.
