Texas native Kevin McHale is confined to a wheelchair as the guitar playing Artie on Glee, but the cast members agreed he was the best dancer of the group. He began dancing at age 3 and turned on to hip-hop dancing at 12. At 14, he joined the boy band NLT (Not Like Them) and opened for the Pussycat Dolls on tour. The group eventually split up in 2009. McHale moved to Los Angeles in 2003 to pursue an acting career and landed bit parts on The Office, Zoey 101, All That, and True Blood before being cast on Glee. ~ Tim Holland, All Movie Guide less
